Wedding Planning for Beginners (Part 1) was a great start to a wonderful series! Lisa McMillan of Exquisite Events and Consulting is teaching a three part series that I have been lucky enough to be able to attend and photograph.
The participants heard from the first guest speaker, Annette Lewis from the Baggie Goose. The Baggie Goose, located in the historic Biltmore Village supplies invitations, stationery, greeting cards, etc. which are frequently used by brides nationwide. It was great to hear Annette discuss all the specifics in creating, assembling, addressing and most of all the protocols when ordering your wedding invitations. Lisa coordinated to have beautiful wedding inspired displays from local vendors. There were great wedding attire displays from Mitchell's Tuxedos and Wedding Inspirations. Bela Dona from Bela Dona Designs displayed a custom designed miniature bride wedding gown with a detachable train and cathedral length veil. The beautiful floral designs were provided by Flora and Sweet Bouquets. I was called to go meet a client at the last minute, and missed out on the wonderful tour of the Renaissance Asheville Hotel given by Lois Davis. Lois is a great person to work with!
