Congrats to Cassie & Jackie (and Taylor & Brody!)

I photographed the sweetest couple that had two of the cutest kids on Saturday at the Fields at Blackberry Cove. Brody, 3 years old, was so excited because they were all getting married. That is what they made it all about. The kids have official new siblings and they absolutely adore each other! Beautiful setting, great people, amazing weather (is this July?!?)! What a lucky photographer I am! Thanks Cassie and Jackie! Congratulations!

CCP is now a member of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce

I decided today was the day. After moving to Asheville, NC nine years and starting my photography business here six years ago, I finally joined the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce today. I feel lucky to be a part of such a great small business community!!

I really love this slide reversal sandwich of Pack Square!! Had to add it in especially since Pack Square looks completely different now with the huge renovations taking place. Chris took some of my slide reversal scans and sandwiched them in ps. We definitely need to do more projects like that!

McKenna and Allen - Day after shoot

A few weeks back, I traveled to shoot McKenna and Allen's wedding in Port Gibson, Mississippi. Old antebellum homes, huge trees lining the main strip, gorgeous couple and locations...couldn't have asked for more! For the day after shoot, we went to Windsor Ruins and the Scheifer House in the backwoods near Port Gibson. Still working on the wedding photos, but the day after shoot/pseudo trash the dress session is up and will be added to the camiphoto.com site soon! The wedding party was all dressed in J Crew wedding attire and looked great! Her dress was a new product in their wedding line and it was just perfect for her!!

WNC Magazine - On the Verge

I had the pleasure of attending and photographing the WNC Magazine - On the Verge opening party at Windows on the Park last night. Thanks to all the wonderful people that made it happen! Amazing venue - Windows on the Park, great staff from Asheville Event Staffing, beautiful floral work by Studio Flora Diva, great work by Asheville Event Co., perfect necessities and details from Classic Event Rentals, tasty food from Colorful Palate, and great contemporary seating from Delton and David Interiors. The two part party started at Windows on the Park and moved to the Asheville Area Arts Council Front Gallery to kick off the opening of the exhibit that will be there for a month. I hope everyone is having a great time at the launch party tonight!!
