I adore sweet summer weddings in Asheville, North Carolina. As the greens get richer, fading from the early spring bright shades and the rhododendron bloom, romance is in the air. The lilac-y purples of the rhodo blooms just happen to be the perfect complement to this couple's wedding colors. With nature and everything else on their side, Gretchen and David's wedding day was nothing short of spectacular. Bright purples and pinks accented by rich grays, contrasting against the classic white linens in the pavilion, filling the space with the fun classy style of this unique couple. Studio Flora Diva created unique tablescapes of all heights (some towering!) throughout the reception space. Tiffany's Baking Company created the three-dimensional butterfly themed cake. The ceremony site overlooking the mountains on a clear day offered the most amazing views.
Gretchen's curly red hair was adorned with a flower and her timeless gown of layered lace was stunning on her. Grays and purples on the wedding party - men in classic grey suits with purple ties, ladies in purple dresses and the bride's purple shoes, all complementing the theme colors. Their beautiful ceremony ended with butterflies being released as they kissed. The couple ate, danced and played into the night celebrating the newlyweds, ending the evening with a sparkler exit. Even the moon put on a show - shining brightly over downtown Asheville.
Big thanks to M7 and the Crest Center staff for always taking great care of all the guests. Love working with WNC Video Productions - always a pleasure!
